Valves with screw shutter are devices that modulate the flow of fluid in a tube or in a liquid container. Different designs have been studied to meet all of the unit configurations and every situation in the field, considering the type of refrigerant fluid and the allowed pressures, as defined in the current standards. Castel has a wide range of valves with screw shutter that can be installed on a variety of commercial refrigeration systems and civil and industrial area air conditioning systems.

The valves with ball shutter are dual flow manual valves capable of ensuring a minimum internal loss when closed and a low-pressure drop when open. They can be installed on all branches of a refrigerator system, respecting the limits for use and the indicated yield in the technical data sheet and on the liquid, intake and hot gas lines. The design of the ball valves guarantees the pressure balance with the valve closed, it allows two-direction fluid flow and prevents the danger of explosion and rejection of the operating rod.

All Castel ball valves can be equipped with an electromechanical actuator for remote opening and closing. These actuators are available in all power voltages available on the market.
